Rocking Chair Bent Beech, attributed to the famous cabinetmaker Michael Thonet (1796-1871), which offers the unusual advantage of being sold with its retractable footrest.
The back and seat with rounded lines, are coated with a craft Caning in perfect condition.
This chair Rocking result of a Viennese work has a quality wood, a prerequisite for the realization of this beech curved structure. including perfect circles Note, interlocking in pairs, which constitute the sides of the cabinet.
The footrest is removable and adjustable on four notches. It is provided at its end with an oval recalling the junction between the backrest and the seat, and rotating on itself, thus adapting to the position of the feet.
Is seen on the underside of the seat remains a accidentally removed label.
