It is of exceptional quality and has a very useful design. The top is quite slim from front to back, with three useful drawers and beautiful gadrooned carving on the front lower edge. This stands on cabriole legs with crisp acanthus leaf carving at the knees. The drawers have high quality brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there remaining beneath the polish, this has a deep and characterful patina.
