The maker’s label remains intact at the back, a rare and valuable survival that authenticates its heritage. Crafted in richly figured hardwood, the wardrobe displays the classic elegance of Georgian design. The doors are finished with matched flame hardwood veneers, producing a striking symmetrical grain pattern, and are fitted with original handles. A deep frieze with finely carved dentil moulding crowns the piece, giving it a strong architectural presence. The interior features a hanging rail with original brass hooks, offering ample storage for garments. Beneath, a full-width drawer provides additional space and is fitted with ornate brass handles. Raised on tall, square legs, the piece carries a refined, elevated stance, allowing for a lighter profile despite its generous proportions.
