Rectangular games table in solid Cuban mahogany (legs, drawers and belt) and mahogany veneer. It stands on 4 sheathed legs finished with bronze sabots and opens with 2 side drawers (fir-wood bottoms).
The removable top is in rosewood and ash veneer with a checkerboard pattern and solid mahogany surround, while the reverse is covered with green felt.
This top reveals a tric-trac game with a solid mahogany back with lemon and stained wood inlays. Enclosed are 24 boxwood and 24 rosewood pucks.
Stamped by A. NICOLA(S) in one of the drawers and on the top of a foot.
Period: first half of the 19th century.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
