Pair of Napoleon III card tables in solid mahogany with inserts of bronze elements. The top has a demi-moon shape and rests on a band under the top entirely inlaid with a geometric motif. The top flips over and rests on the rear foot which is moved to create a stable support. The feet have a fluted truncated cone shape ending in gilded bronze socks and are connected via a central shelf. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: 19th century France. Closed measurements: 50×30 H75cm. Open measurements: 50×58 H75cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity
