It is of extremely fine quality, standing on slender yet sturdy cabriole legs and with gorgeous inlaid floral patterns. There are high quality ormolu mounts and this contains a great work space inside when opened up. The back of this is also nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
