The quality is outstanding, this has a beautiful design and is a very practical size. The kidney shaped top has an inset black leather writing surface and walnut banding around the edges. There are two drawers which have turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There is lovely inlaid banding all around the edges, and lovely chunky carving at the top of the legs. There is a stretchered base and the legs sit on porcelain casters. T
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
