Pamono Art Deco Triple Wardrobe by Harry and Lou Epstein, 1930s Online

A gorgeous Art Deco triple wardrobe by Harry and Lou Epstein. Dating to circa 1930, this wonderful wardrobe simply oozes quality. The overall colour is a warm soft honey and the entire wardrobes exterior is veneered in burr maple, all 3 doors and the sides too. Standing on a most attractive plinth which has ebonised accenting further enhanced with curvaceous feet. This ebonised detailing is repeated on the cornice.
The body consists of 2 sections, however it is possible to divide the larger section down the middle if staircases are problematical. The left hand section is full hanging which provides a wonderful amount of storage. There is a full width shelf from which a chrome rail can be fitted (however if you prefer we can remove the shelf and fit the rail higher to give even more space for long items, please let us know your preference at the point of purchase). The central door has a mirror fitted which is in very good condition.
The right hand side consists of 2 large deep drawers which are mahogany faced with open shelf above and 3 linen trays above this, all dove tailed and running smoothly.
The doors, to their tops hsve walnut accenting which adds contrast to the burr maple. The central door is slightly curved which along with the large radioused fluted corners give this wardrobe lovely soft lines, very easy on the eye. The fluted corners are a real Harry and Lou Epstein statement, featuring on a lot of their pieces.
The quality is undeniable.
