Pamono Industrial Island Counter in Steel and Walnut, 1970s Outlet

Important industrial island counter, completely restored, with rusty finish and solid blond walnut top. Officina di Ricerca signed the restoration work for this recovery of an industrial work counter, the structure of which was sandblasted and subsequently acid-etched, to obtain a natural rust finish on the iron parts, as well as on the fronts of the six drawers. The profile frame was brushed until shiny, everything was then finished in transparent two-component, so as to permanently block the effect obtained. The three drawers on each front, for a total of six drawers, have original chromed steel handles. The 5 cm thick worktop, of which 2.5 cm in solid blond walnut plank, was taken from a rectory table from the middle of the last century, sanded and finished in black wax which extrapolated its natural grain . The upper bridge with wooden finish shelf support is crossed in the upper part by a longitudinal pulley to which it is possible to attach 8 hooks, and each one can slide along the entire length of the counter… This part was called the “overhead crane”.

The overhead crane can be detached from the bench using two bolts, suitable for obtaining a normal flat bench.

The feet are isolated from the ground with special rubber felt which is highly robust given the weight of the table. However, there is an M12 thread at the base of each foot for the attachment of 4 wheels (supplied) to facilitate movement.
