Italian Art Nouveau white green wrought iron vase holders with dragons, 1900s Pair of wrought iron vase holders. The two structures are both composed of three twisted iron bars painted green and ending with leaf-shaped feet, but they differ in the composition of the ground support: in one the “leaves” develop outwards and in the other more inward. The three bars at the top take the shape of a decorative dragon with each a ring between its teeth, below there is a decorated and white painted metal band which contains the vase holder, which has a round base and decorated in white and red. Can also be used in an outdoor environment such as a garden or terrace. Produced in the early 1900s in full Liberty style, these vase holders come from Palazzo Falconi, a historic building from the 1700s which in the first half of the 1900s was a prestigious Italian hotel located in the historic center of Fiuggi.
