In this listing you will find an Exceptionally Rare Modernist bed “Marlo” designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni. It was designed in 1982 as an improved version of the 1970s ‘Morna’ bed. It is made of wood, navy velvet and black lacquered metal. The headboard frame has a mechanism that adjusts the height and the angle of the cushion in three different positions and it’s covered with velvet cushions. The front part of the bed has two black wooden legs and the back part has black wooden casters. Made in Italy in 1982. Good vintage condition. Velvet shows no damages. Might have gotten a bit paler due to its age.
