Pamono Large Empire Mahogany Boat Bed, 1800s

Large boat bed in solid mahogany flamed, mahogany veneer, with rich decoration of finely chased and gilded bronzes, Empire period. Four baluster uprights, decorated with fleurons, acanthus leaves and palmettes, support the whole. On the front, the two sides have a crosspiece of fleurons and swans’ necks with a crown of roses and a rose window.
