Pamono Louis XIII Style Game Table in Walnut and Marble, Early 20th Century Clearance

Atypical solid walnut living room table with a magnificent Turquin Incarnat marble from Caunes-Minervois in the Aude. This marble was used for chimneys of the Palace of Versailles.

This table has the particularity of presenting four drawers in parallel. Two large belts are fitted with two drawers each pulling through a wood button and false drawers are present on the sides.
The façades of the drawers are dressed in harmonious geometric moldings and separated by a large overturned square.
The large belt surrounding this table has a slightly cut low crosspiece highlighting a wand with scrolls and in the center an important leafy sculpture.
At the angles, solid feet include a high -protruding and chamfer part continuing with a shot part ending with a ball foot.
The lower part of this piece of furniture consists of a large T -turned space, the central parts of which have a top -shaped shoot.
The Turquin Incarnat red marble, combines pink, oranges, white and gray tones. It has projection and faceted angles with a periphery by beak-de-corbine.
