It is inspired by the Bressan style, yet features moldings typical of furniture from the southern Saône-et-Loire region.
Its history is partially recorded on a sheet of parchment found in the cabinet.
It is very beautiful and elegant, of fine quality, delicately carved and inlaid.
The cornice is “gendarme hat”-shaped.
The whole rests on curved scrolled legs.
