Pamono Mid-Century Japanese Cha Tansu Tea Cabinet, 1950s Best

A striking vintage Japanese Cha Tansu (tea cabinet), crafted during the Shōwa period (ca. 1950).

This generous cabinet is composed of multiple compartments with sliding doors and three spacious drawers. The sliding doors are fitted with elegant round metal pulls adorned with a subtle floral motif. Behind the doors, practical shelves and storage spaces provide ample room for tea utensils, ceramics, or tableware.

The piece is finished in a deep reddish wood veneer with a vivid, almost flame-like grain pattern that highlights the natural beauty of the material. The contrast between the warm exterior tones and the darker interior surfaces lends the cabinet a refined, understated presence.
