This an outstanding piece. It is made from solid oak and has this wonderful warm patina. Made in the 1930’s with these fabulous tapered legs, sadly the shelf has been lost over time, but this could easily be replaced. It would be amazing as a kitchen island, a work bench, as it was originally used or as a counter in a shop, I can imagine it in the middle of the floor space with clients walking around, merchandise stacked high and extra stock stored in baskets below. This fabulous Drapers Table was used in a fabric shop to lay out the fabric ahead of measuring and cutting. This piece is beautifully made. Solid and strong. A fabulous find.
