Very rare RAR Rocking Chair by the designers Ray and Charles Eames.
– This Rocking Chair was manufactured in the early 1960s and belongs to the second version of the first series, means small shockmounts and the seat shell without the circumferential rope.
– The Rocking Chair is in original condition; nothing was added or renewed (shockmounts original and hardened )
– All screws are still original from the time of production
– Chair frame original from the time of production, surface galvanizing original
– Beech frame joints original from the time of production
– The fiberglass – no damage or restoration spots. Again everything in original condition – shell has a beautiful visible structure.
A truly rare design classic, a piece of furniture where everything is as it was when it left the factory in the 1960s without additions, restorations or changes.
