Design
The T95 features a floating rectangular top crafted in teak, supported by a metal beam construction with black lacquered legs ending in brass sabots. The compositional balance between wood and metal reveals Borsani’s industrial yet refined design vocabulary. On either side of the central support, two suspended drawer units are cantilevered beneath the top; one with a triple-drawer configuration (including lock) and the other with a combination of open shelving and a lockable cabinet. The left unit can move 180 degrees. The drawer fronts are articulated with sculpted solid wood pulls, integrated into the front panels.
Tecno, founded by Borsani and his brother Fulgenzio, was one of the key innovators in the field of office and system furniture. The T95 desk is a strong example of their ambition to merge aesthetics with progressive engineering. This particular piece bears Tecno’s original label and “Modello Depositato” stamp, verifying its authenticity.
A rare and iconic executive desk that still resonates with contemporary collectors and architects alike.
Condition
This desk is professionally restored in our workshop without losing its authenticity. There are minor signs of age to the metal base and veneer, as expected, but no structural issues. Original keys are present and functional.
