It is of very good quality, it is slim yet with plenty of storage space. It has stunning burr walnut grain patterns, beautifully turned handles and lovely carved corbels at the top corners. It has the usual locking mechanism seen on Wellington chests on one side, the drawers run smoothly and have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there, overall this has a gorgeous patina.
