Pamono Vintage Danish Teak Chest of Drawers by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen for HG Furniture, 1960s

Scandinavian mid-century chest of drawers designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen and made by HG Furniture will enrich any bedroom or living room. It features five spacious asymmetrical drawers with sleek solid teak round handles. The top two drawers are smaller and inlayed with green fleece.

Superb carpentry and details, visible in finely selected veneer with a vibrant wood grain, show the mastery of Danish mid-century craftsmanship. The tapered solid wood legs enhance its Scandinavian origin. They are detachable for more convenient transport.

The chest has no manufacturers label, but has the same features that other furniture from that designers duo, also it has a ” Danish Furniture Makers Control ” label, also present in all of H&G furniture. The label was allowed only on the best Danish furniture from mid century period.
The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and protected with layers of Danish oil, enhancing its beauty. All drawers are clean and work smoothly. The piece is in fantastic original condition.
