The chairs were originally designed for the famous Austrian Postsparkasse in Vienna in 1903. Several variations were designed for different areas in the building.
The set consists of a settee and two chairs. The whole set is recently reupholstered with a beautiful Secession fabric, that fits the set perfectly. Also the foam has been renewed.
The frames are made of stained bent beech wood.
The set is sturdy and the wood has no damages. The settee is in very good condition. The frames of the two chairs are somehow slightly deformed. which you can see when you have a good look at them, especially when the chairs are standing next to each other (for example photo 7). Because of this one chair has received a tiny restoration. Nothing to be worried about.
